'Pattern' is a short film shot on 16mm on the Jurassic Coast; a dreamlike project requiring analogue visual effects no one had built before.

Working with the director, Whatever Together developed techniques to capture these striking visual effects directly on analogue film. After testing hardware designs, filming techniques and post production processes, the studio delivered devices and tools allowing these unique visions to be captured in-camera.

The film earned Vimeo Staff Pick and a Best of the Year nomination in 2022.
